Remember, we are Coaching 4 Life … not just a Season!
"Implementing C4L’s Character Quality Curriculum (CQC) has been the best thing I have done in my 17 year coaching career and have seen amazing results. Before I attended a C4L workshop I focused a lot of my time & energy on the X’s & 0’s on the game of basketball. But what I have realized over the last two years using C4L’s Process to teach character on a daily basis has made a huge difference in our players and coaching staff. Last year we finished the season 14-9 & lost in the first round of sectionals. After that tough loss our players shared in the locker room how they love one another and will miss not being able to practice together. It was the greatest feeling to hear high school kids say they loved one another and really cared. I can’t wait to get this years CQC & I would highly recommend it for any coaches at any level to start implementing the C4L Process with their team."
Kevin Orr, Head Boys Basketball Coach Rice Lake High School

"I thought I taught character in my sport. After spending this workshop, I realize I need more work in this area. I cannot wait to coach with this new information."
High school coach, NY
"This workshop brought a perspective of coaching that was refreshing and the belief that a coach's primary responsibility is the character, moral and social development of his players is a message that we as coaches often lose sight of because of society's emphasis on wins and losses. It was a great chance for me to look at my own coaching motives, objectives and goals. It helped me clarify why I coach, the role I play as a coach and the impact I have on my players. C4L’s message is important and beneficial for all coaches."
High School coach, AZ
"Coaching Character is so vital for coaches today at every level and today we are losing athletes because of NO character training at home, school, college and even in the pros. Coaching 4 Life is an organization that encourages coaches in their effort to influence young men and women that is having an impact unlike anything I have seen in four decades."
Sam Rutigliano, former NFL and College Head Coach
"There is no question that coaching my players' character this season guided us through our few low points and made us a much closer team. I was a little scared at how it may be received, but the response I got from my kids was amazing. I know for a fact that all my players are better young men for having learned and accepted these character qualities and will benefit from this in some way in the future. Having just scratched the surface with this, I cannot wait to get this going with the younger teams in our program."
Brad Bresee, High School Coach, PA
"I can't wait for the C4L Network to get started. I haven't seen information like what you have for coaches out there that has such clarity and in a simple framework. This is really going to hit the heart of a coach. There are so many coaches who need to be encouraged and are struggling out there. I am so encouraged myself today just by what you've shown me. It is like putting the wind in my sails in my coaching."
College Coach, SD
"I also wanted to say thank you to you for inspiring me to look within myself and to change things I didn't like about my coaching. I was able to make some changes that I felt really good about. In turn, I saw in my players a different level of respect and gratitude. I am a work in progress but I certainly appreciate your commitment to helping me grow."
College Coach, PA
"Thanks for continuing to encourage and challenge me. I now realize the importance of your teaching and training. It’s been a humbling experience. My responsibility as a parent, teacher, coach, husband, son, brother, and community member has changed. My marriage, my classroom, my home life, my gymnasium has new life and a new focus. I don’t think it is a question of whether or not coaching this way works anymore, but why, as coaches, are we hesitating to integrate the character qualities. When that happens, we all win."
Middle School Coach, OH,
"I have found C4L’s CQC to be an incredible tool for me, both as a coach and as a parent, to ensure that I am reaching my players and my children by teaching them the values and building the character qualities I want them to learn."
High School Coach, NM
"In my opinion Coaching 4 Life has to be one of the premier turnkey character education programs in the country to help coaches make it as simple yet as exponentially effective as is possible in the area of dramatically teaching athletic program personnel the Xs and Os of Good Character"
Randy Pippen, former coach and Director of Glazier Clinics
"Coaching 4 Life, is leading a coaching movement that involves the intentional integration of character in sport. It has impacted countless athletes through the coaches that have been trained through its workshops. This is an absolutely phenomenal way to coach. I have been in the Process for 5 years and have seen unbelievable results with the teams/players that I have been blessed to coach. When it comes to the development of players and coaches as people, I believe that a partnership with C4L would definitely be a "no brainer".
